ABOUT US:
Research centre for digital economy was established by the Decision No. 155 of the meeting of the Scientific Council of Azerbaijan State University of Economics dated November 24, 2017 and the order of the UNEC Rector dated April 18, 2018 No. 296/3/2018.
According to the order of the UNEC Rector dated November 16, 2018, No. 1031/3/2018, the management of the center was entrusted to the senior lecturer of the department of Digital Economy and ICT, PhD in Mathematic, Rzayeva Ulviya Shahin.
OUR GOAL:
Support for the development of the digital economy in Azerbaijan
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify the interrelationships of business, science, education and other communities and their needs in the digital economy;
Monitoring the development of the digital economy and digital technologies, the formation of forecasts for the development of the digital economy and digital technologies, as well as the preparation of proposals on key areas of the digital economy;
Formation of research competencies: search in the field of digital economy, applied research, ensuring technological independence in the field of globally competitive digital technologies and national security
OUR GOAL:
Promotion and support of innovative products in the field of digital economy;
Promoting the development of higher, vocational and general education curricula, taking into account the results of research in the field of digital economy;
Cooperation with government agencies, research and training centers, companies and other interested organizations in various areas of the digital economy;
Organizing and conducting events on a wide range of issues related to the development of the digital economy, including international events;
Publication of the results of our scientific works

Training on preparation of scientific articles has been held
On February 10-11, 2020, UNEC Digital Economy Research Center organized a training on “Methodological recommendations for the preparation of scientific articles in journals indexed in international scientific databases” for employees of the Department of “Digital Economy and ICT”.
Speaking about the importance of the topic, head of the Center, Senior Lecturer of the Department, Ph.D in Mathematics, Ulviya Rzayeva stressed that this training had been held in order to improve the research skills of the teaching staff of the department.
